Aun-T came up for a visit, nicely funded by her school, and backed up to spring break, so she got to stay for a few extra days. (And she didn't run away screaming when Kasen spit up DOWN her shirt, within 5 minutes of her arrival!) After presenting her research (which she got great reviews for!) we had some time to hang out, get more than her fill of baby time I'm sure, and some birthday celebration. Here is the picture montage...
A stormy birthday day for Tricia and we weren't sure if our decision to go to the Olympic Sculpture Park was a good one...especially when it was pouring while we were driving there. Well, the sun came out! It was windy, but sunny, and not many people given that it was midweek and it had just been pouring moments before. (sorry T, I think you have all the group shots, due to your mad self group shooting skills)
And, my longest car ride yet...off to Portland to hang out with both my Johnson aunts!
This is how I look when I'm almost asleep. I like to grab blankets and pull them up over my face (sounds safe), and my eyes roll back. Sometimes I sleep with my eyes partially open, like one of my parents though I won't tell you which one. Scary!
Aunt Bri!
Whatcha lookin at?!
All the sisters in one location = amazing
Kasen was a trooper and enjoyed a birthday dinner for T (Thanks parents) out at sushi and even slept through dessert later! He had a harder time driving back to Seattle alone with his mom, though we both survived and will even go back for Bri's graduation (well, just did go back...and he did great in the car!)
If you can keep track of my ever wandering sentences, congrats to you! Until next time (hopefully soon so I can get more pictures up here, but now it's time for bed).
